Counsellor, Katherine Sage, MA, MTh, RP
My unique training as a Registered Psychotherapist is built on a strong foundation of emotional and compassion-focused therapy. I understand that it can be difficult to begin therapy, and I make every effort to provide a safe, caring and respectful environment. Relationship issues, including marriage and couples counselling, are a special area of focus.
I offer my clients a wide range of training and experience. I provide anxiety treatment for ongoing anxiety and panic attacks, as well as depression. I hold special training in couples therapy, especially for betrayal trauma and recovery. I also offer specialized PTSD treatment for trauma, both past and present.
In addition to my accreditation as a Registered Psychotherapist, I hold two graduate degrees in the humanities, including a recent master’s degree in theology. My academic and clinical work was recognized with the top award in the psychotherapy stream of the Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care program at Martin Luther University College in 2019.
