Counsellor, Katherine Sage, MA, RP
New to Collingwood, Ontario, I offer my clients a wide range of training and experience. I provide anxiety treatment for ongoing anxiety and panic attacks, and depression help for short and long-term recovery. I hold special training in couples therapy, especially for betrayal trauma and recovery. I also offer supportive PTSD treatment, family therapy, and addictions help for alcohol, drugs, food, online gaming, pornography and sexual encounters.
My unique training is built on a strong foundation of emotion and compassion-focused therapy. With my understanding that it can be difficult to begin therapy, I make every effort to provide a safe, caring and respectful environment. Relationship issues, including marriage counselling, are a special area of focus.
I hold two graduate degrees in the humanities, including a recent master’s degree in theology. My academic and clinical work was recognized with the top award in the psychotherapy stream of the Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care program at Martin Luther University College in 2019.
